Junior Theatre Company (10-12 yrs)

All weekly classes and workshops are geared towards the skills needed to perform confidently in a full-scale musical production. Singing, acting and stage movement knowledge is encouraged as we prepare each member for an end of the year performance in a professional theatre.

Each cast (night) meets any time between 6:45pm-9:15pm; this may be in shorter stretches of time with smaller cohorts or for a longer stretch of time with the whole cast. The beginning of the season starts with approx. 2-4 weeks of our Workshop Period (during this time we build our musical theatre skills, work together and find our confidence in performing). After the Workshop Period, we hold auditions and from there, each cast member gets cast in a role for the season’s show. The remainder of the season is called our Rehearsal Period and is spent in full rehearsals for the season’s show. During the Rehearsal Period, each cast (night) will still meet any time between 6:45pm-9:15pm, though these individual times and cohorts may be different from the Workshop Period, depending on casting. Specific call times are sent upon registration and closer to the start of the season.
