Exploring further into the world of live theatre, enhancing singing, acting and stage movement skills. Learn the art of thinking on your feet through improvisation and drama games. Building confidence and self-esteem is also focused on in this age group. Being comfortable with bright lights, loud applause and performing in front of a live audience is all part of the process.
Each Mini Star class meets between 5:45pm-6:45pm. The beginning of the season starts with approx. 3-6 weeks of our Workshop Period (during this time we build our musical theatre skills, work together and find our confidence in performing). After the Workshop Period, we learn about auditions and from there, the class works on their group role(s) for the season’s show. The remainder of the season is called our Rehearsal Period and is spent in full rehearsals for the season’s show. During the Rehearsal Period, each Mini Star class will still meet between 5:45pm-6:45pm.
