This class begins to put together several basic techniques in singing to build a strong group dynamic. The philosophy that we can learn from those around us is important here. Fewer songs are learned, as the material is considerably more challenging. Many songs are sung in harmony, and students are challenged to do more than just sing the right notes. Here, they are taught musical expression, musical phrasing, choral blending, 3 or 4-part harmony and advanced performance techniques. There are more public performances for this group, as they tour Seniors Homes and compete in Music Festivals, and perform in various places around town.
